Draft your "Big News" Email or Text While you are getting all your affairs in order for the "Big Day" drafting an email to family and friends informing them of the news about the new addition will save time. This is what you should do: Save a blank e-mail in your drafts folder with all the addresses filled in so you don't have to think about it at the hospital (was it auntsusie@gmail or yahoo?). Then all you'll need to do is enter the length and weight stats, give a few heartfelt details, and attach a photo. You might even be able to do it from your BlackBerry or have a close friend log into your e-mail for you. My hubby created a group in his BlackBerry so that the text could be sent out with a press of a button. Then just wait for the congratulations to start pouring in! My hubby and I used our phones to send a short text with a picture of our son. When everything was calm we enjoyed reading the replies telling us that he looked like his daddy! Your family will appreciate the time you took to send them an email or text to spread the joyful news of the birth of your baby. |
