Can I use hair removal products while pregnant? Most things used topically are rarely absorbed into the blood stream. If you choose to use one of these products, try to minimize your exposure by using it in a well ventilated area and limiting the amount of time you leave it on your skin. I noticed that when I used it the smell made me sick to my stomach. Even when it is advertised as low odor says that it has a "fresh" scent it still will have the strong odor. I tried Nair and Veet and experienced the same thing with both. My alternative was an electric razor that I could sit on the couch and recline while using instead of standing in the shower. My husband also helped me get to the hard to reach places like the back of my legs and thighs. |
